Duminica seara s-a incheiat votul la pollingul cu intrebarea: "Credeti ca piesa "Pe O Margine De Lume" trebuie descalificata?". Rezultatul se bazeaza pe voturile a 546 de vizitatori de pe acest blog, dintre care 509 (93%) au raspuns "Da", 36 (6%) au raspuns "Nu", iar un singur vizitator a raspuns "Nu stiu".
Acest sondaj nu are, evident, pretentia de sondaj de opinie facut dupa regulile IMAS, Gallup sau IRSOP ci, asa cum sunt toate sondajele facute pe diferite site-uri sau televiziuni, el are gradul sau de subiectivitate. Dar, pe de alta parte, este destul de simptomatic, pentru ca exprima modul in care gandesc vizitatorii acestui site, despre care am invatat in ultimele saptamani ca sunt oameni de calitate.

Este graitor, nu era nevoie deniciun sondaj, doar s-a vazut si la compararea celor doua petitii, pro- si contra-.
Ca ma intriga, este faptul ca, desi este coplesitor mai mare numarul celor contra-, la finala Eurovision, voturile spectatorilor au fost in favoarea copiutei.

Dupa cum se observa, toate comentariile, inclusiv cele in care sunt luat in balon si purtat prin cerurile ironiei, chiar fara nicio logica, daca nu sunt vulgare sau injurioase, apar pe blog.
As prefera argumente logice in loc de aberatii cu Traienica si altele.

florine imi schimb parerea despre tine. da parca a fost plagiat la mirita. esti un tip ok, ai simtul umorului. mai restul de 35, care ascultati la casti nico si mirita, hai treceti pe rare bird, allusa fatax, arcangello corelli. nu se mai poate asa. pana cand o sa fiu eu trompeta refularilor voastre artistice. ce daca ati dat fiecare 20 euro pe sms si nu vi s+au decontat.

Plagiarism accusations towards "Disappear"

German media are accusing songwriter Remee of having “stolen” his song from a German talent show. Remee turns it the other way around by stating that his song was written first.
It came as quite a surprise for the Danish songwriter, Remee, that he won the German national final as, previously reported here on EuroVisionary, he had no knowledge of the song even being sent in to the selection. He was quite happy though with Disappear being his first Eurovision entry, but now he is beginning to feel what the Eurovision Song Contest is also about: plagiarism accusations.
A German radio station is accusing Remee of having copied the song Break the silence, which Steffi List came third with in a German TV show on 10th of January. Remee does not comment on whether or not the two song songs are too similar, but turns it the other way around. “We wrote our song a long time before their song was published. I don’t understand why it is not the other way around and them who has copied our song”, Remee says.
Whoever wrote the song first EuroVisionary is giving our readers the chance to judge if the two songs are indeed similar or if this is just another one in the endless row of accusations that comes up every year, but rarely has any justification.
NDR concludes entry is not plagiarised

Accusations of plagiarism were waged against the German 2008 entry by a German radio station. NDR has now issued a press release in which they totally deny that any evidence exists that proves this argument.
The story has been picked up by many news outlets in Germany and so NDR has felt it necessary to totally refute any accusations of plagiarism. There are three main rebuttals in their press release. The first is that the music for the song 'Disappear' was first written in January 2006 and so would out date the song 'Break the silence' by Steffi List which was publicly aired on the 10th of January this year.
The second point on which NDR discredits the allegation is that there is no actual plaintiff that feels they have been the victimised by the plagiarism of their intellectual property. The two artists involved are both on the Universal label so NDR feels that there is no problem in that regard.
The final point that NDR brings to light is the fact that independent consultants have confirmed that the similarities in the song do not constitute plagiarism. Ralf Quibeldey from NDR's entertainment department said "We are persuaded that the song 'Disappear' of the group 'No Angels' in all points complies with the guidelines of the EBU for the Eurovision Song Contest and is not plagiarism. We are glad that No Angels, internationally known stars, line up for Germany in Belgrade, and keep our fingers crossed for them."
Paolo Meneguzzi, 31 year old singer, guitarist and songwriter from Tessin will represent Switzerland at Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Singer has been selected by jury, made of representatives of Swiss channels SF, TSR, TSI, VIVA Switzerland and radio DRS. He will perform song "Era stupendo", which is described as a romantic ballad with dance elements in the style of 70s. Song will be presented for the first time at Swiss TV on 12th of January, during the broadcast of Swiss national music awards.
Different tabloid papers in Sweden and Switzerland, supported by some websites have launched campaign to prove that song "Era Stupendo", set to be representing Switzerland in Eurovision 2008 performed by Paolo Meneguzzi, is in fact plagiarism of the song "It can only get better" performed by 15 years old Amy Diamond from Sweden.
Father and manager of Swedish singer Lee Deasismont has stated "The songs are very much alike. All the best in the Swiss song has been taken from "It can only get better". Composer of the Swedish song Tommy Tysper added: "We are going to listen to the songs carefully and decide which measures we can take".
Swiss papers approached Paolo, who noticed "I do not know this Swedish singer, so I had to look on the video from Youtube. Well, even if there may be some similarities between the songs - I didn't steal it from her! Actually I also noticed that parts of Amy's song are very similar to song of Avril Lavigne "When You're Gone!"
Representative of Swiss broadcaster SF told: "In certain places there can be heard some vague similarities - however in general the two songs are different."
It also appeared that though Paolo himself wrote "Era Stupendo" arrangement for it was done by Swedish Erik Lidbom, who also produced Meneguzzi's album "Musica". "Erik is only responsible for production, while I myself composed all songs for the album. I tryst him", rejects Meneguzzi.
Expert Poto Wegener from Swiss socitety for copyrights of music works judged the following "Yes, the beginning of the verse, as well as parts of refrain are very simillar. However similarities do not mean plagiarism. It may be example of double creation".

Currently, we do not believe there are enough grounds for disqualification, however if author of Swedish entry will issue official complaint the matter will be decided by EBU comission after Swiss entry will be oficially submitted to the contest.
